A leading construction company located in 6th of October is looking to hire experienced professionals for the Technical Office Team Leader (Civil & Architectural) position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of civil and architectural technical office engineers. Assign tasks, review deliverables, and ensure high-quality output under tight deadlines.
  • Shop Drawings & BIM: Oversee the preparation, review, and submittal of detailed architectural and structural shop drawings, composite/coordination drawings, and as-built records for consultant approval.
  • Quantity Surveying (QS) & Billing: Lead the preparation and verification of quantity take-offs (QTO) and Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Review and certify monthly owner invoices and subcontractor payment applications.
  • RFI & Variation Management: Manage the Request for Information (RFI) process to resolve design discrepancies. Identify, document, and price variation orders (change orders) and claim-related technical backup.
  • Procurement Support: Collaborate with the procurement team by preparing technical specifications, evaluating material compliance sheets, and reviewing subcontractor pre-qualification and technical proposals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering.
  • 10+ years of solid experience in a technical office environment (experience in large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects is highly preferred).
  • Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, and advanced MS Excel for quantity surveying and data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of local construction materials, prices, contracting methods, and international/local building codes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to interface effectively with consultants, project managers, and subcontractors.
