Responsibilities: 

• Oversee and ensure proper mechanical repairs of mobile equipment.
• Support technicians with complex technical issues.
• Report repair activities to relevant departments (maintenance/operations).
• Investigate root causes of equipment failures and prevent recurrence.
• Monitor and report on misuse, breakdowns, and major deviations.
• Ensure safe working conditions and proper housekeeping.
• Conduct and review SWIs and risk assessments with the team.
• Track maintenance costs and prepare annual cost reports.
• Oversee and evaluate subcontractor repair work.
• Coordinate with departments on preventive maintenance outcomes.
• Handle technical evaluation and approval of spare parts offers.
• Monitor team performance and support development plans.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience with Caterpillar mining equipment.
• Proficient in Caterpillar SIS, ET, and SAP.
• Solid knowledge of maintenance procedures and root cause analysis.
• Skilled in SWIs, risk assessments, and KPI tracking.
