Responsibilities:

• Inspection Management: Prepare, log, and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs). Accompany the consultant during site inspections to secure approvals.
• Quality Plan Implementation: Execute the project’s Quality Management System (QMS) on-site, ensuring site engineers and subcontractors adhere to the approved Method Statements for each activity.
• Materials Verification: Inspect incoming construction materials to ensure they match approved material submittals, quantities, specifications, and are stored under correct conditions.
• Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for defective work. Proactively follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with site execution teams to close NCRs.
• Testing & Documentation: Supervise on-site and laboratory testing (e.g., concrete slump and cube compressive tests, soil compaction tests, or water tightness tests). Maintain, update, and organize the Quality Logbook and QA/QC documentation for final handover.
• Defect Prevention: Walk the site regularly to identify potential quality issues before they are officially submitted for inspection, minimizing rework and saving project time and cost.
   

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Deep knowledge of construction materials, execution methodologies, and local/international building and testing codes (e.g., ASTM, ACI, Egyptian Code).
• Excellent command of MS Office (Word, Excel) for managing inspection logs and quality reporting.
• Firm, professional personality with exceptional communication skills to negotiate quality standards with site teams and build trust with the consultant.
