Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, shipping, and distribution.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery.
• Manage relationships with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs clearance agents.
• Ensure smooth customs clearance processes and resolve any potential delays proactively.
• Coordinate closely with internal departments (procurement, production, sales) to align logistics activities with business needs.
• Monitor logistics performance metrics and continuously optimize processes.
• Negotiate contracts and rates with logistics service providers.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and local laws.
• Handle urgent and critical shipments with high responsiveness and availability.
• Lead and develop the logistics team to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics, with a strong focus on international markets (Europe & the Middle East).
• Proven experience in managing logistics operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment (experience in copper or similar industries is a plus).
• Strong network and established relationships with shipping companies and logistics providers.
• In-depth knowledge of customs clearance procedures and international shipping regulations.
• Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to overcome operational challenges efficiently.
