RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Description:
- Draft and edit high quality, medically accurate manuscripts, conference abstracts, and posters
- Submit articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals
- Develop materials for Medical Affairs, including slides and information letters
- Perform background research
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure publications are time-appropriate
- Understand the nature of the scientific work that they will be covering, conduct comprehensive literature searches, evaluate and analyze the information they will be writing about.
- Prepare abstracts, scientific exhibits, posters, and verbal presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, such as biology or chemistry
- Ph.D. or M.D. strongly preferred
- Experience writing and editing scientific documents
- Familiarity with AMA style
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Organizational skills
